1. Who we are

HallwayTest is operated by Keenethics OU, ATTN: Oleksiy Pletnov, Sepapaja tn 6 Lasnamäe linnaosa, Tallinn, Harju maakond, 15551, EE ("HallwayTest", "we", "us", or "our").

Questions about these Terms can be sent to legal@hallwaytest.dev.

2. The service

HallwayTest provides human usability testing for digital products. A customer can submit a product URL, a testing request, and, when needed, dedicated test credentials. An in-house tester may then use the product while their screen, voice, webcam video, and relevant session events are recorded. HallwayTest may provide the customer with recordings, transcripts, timestamps, observations, and other test results.

HallwayTest can make test results available through an MCP integration. HallwayTest does not perform the customer's LLM analysis. If the customer uses Claude, Cursor, or another AI service, processing by that service is controlled by the customer and subject to that provider's terms and privacy practices.

3. Beta service and pricing

HallwayTest is currently in beta. Features, availability, workflows, and pricing may change as the service is tested and improved.

During the current validation stage, prices shown on the website may be used to test customer interest. A displayed price or a click on a pricing button does not by itself create a purchase or charge. No payment is collected unless HallwayTest clearly presents a payment step and you expressly authorize the charge. Current pilot tests may be offered free of charge.

4. Eligibility and authority

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms. If you use HallwayTest on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.

5. Products and access you submit

You may submit a product for testing only if you own it or have permission to test it.

If access credentials are required, use dedicated test credentials created for the testing session. Do not provide production credentials, payment information, highly sensitive personal data, API keys, or access to data that is not necessary for the test.

You are responsible for the legality of the product, content, URLs, accounts, credentials, and instructions you provide.

6. Test sessions and results

Tests are performed by real in-house testers. Usability testing is observational and does not guarantee that every usability issue, defect, security issue, or other problem will be found.

Test results reflect the experience and observations of the individual tester and are provided for informational and product-development purposes.

7. Ownership and license

You retain ownership of your product, test instructions, submitted materials, and test results created for you.

You grant HallwayTest a limited, non-exclusive license to access, display, record, process, and share your submitted materials with the assigned in-house tester only as needed to perform the requested test and deliver the results.

HallwayTest retains ownership of its software, branding, testing workflows, methods, and platform technology.

8. Confidentiality and access

HallwayTest limits access to submitted product materials and test outputs to personnel and service providers who need that access to operate the service. Customers should still avoid submitting secrets or sensitive information that is not required for the test.

9. Acceptable use

You must not use HallwayTest to:

  • test a product, account, or system without authorization;
  • submit malware, phishing content, illegal content, or harmful code;
  • request unauthorized access, security exploitation, or unlawful surveillance;
  • violate privacy, intellectual-property, confidentiality, or other third-party rights;
  • interfere with or abuse HallwayTest, its testers, or its infrastructure.

10. Third-party services

HallwayTest may rely on third-party services to operate parts of the beta experience, including Jam for test-session capture, Calendly for scheduling, and Microsoft Clarity for website analytics. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

11. Availability and disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, HallwayTest disclaims warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, or suitable for every purpose.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HallwayTest will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HallwayTest's total aggregate liability arising from the service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of USD $100 or the amount you paid to HallwayTest during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or stop providing the service if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, create security or legal risk, or if the beta service is changed or discontinued. You may stop using HallwayTest at any time.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as HallwayTest changes. The updated version will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use after the updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Estonia.
